I have concluded this program and I’m still trying to figure out what is the aim of it. Not what I had expected. I enrolled believing this was aimed to learn how to do a good translation or understand a translation business, but it recommended me several times to hire translators for certain topic or to go to a translation community for help and to take a translation course (really?) to do a translation.
Some parts of the text seemed to be aimed (or taken from) a code of conduct of translators of a company that does contracts for the government, others from extracts from different sources but they were not prepared for a learning program (some times even the fonts changed paragraph by paragraph, in my opinion a bad copy paste practice)
Don’t take me wrong information is useful and it is always interesting learning something new, in this case I spent several hrs (more than advertised) learning information without a clear aim or focus or event a comprehensive set of readings.
This program is just reading, no exercises, no practices, no nothing but reading this collage of information. Another thing it seems that the program has over 200 students but when you see the statistics of tests taken there is no more than 6 students taken it, so it seems that there is no real match of the information advertised to the actual program. I personally would’ve loved more honesty.
